Headshot of Walker

Salve!

I have spent nearly a decade in leadership roles at two, well-known shops. After moving to Washington, DC, I first joined the team at The Bike Rack, a repair-focused shop in Logan Circle. There, I managed a team of fellow mechanics and maximized repair capacity. Just before the pandemic, I also served as the Service Manager at Conte's Bike Shop, a full-service, multi-city bike retailer.

Over the years, I have developed strong relationships with long-term clients, many of whom made Little Rome possible. I have seen it all, from pre-war three-speeds to World-Tour level race machines — sometimes one right after the other. My interests are reliable wheel builds, frame up custom builds, and maintenance of high-mileage bicycles for people who love to ride.

Little Rome allows me to work in a way that feels right: uninterrupted, unhurried, and tailored to your needs. Through this business and working for you, I get to be your bicycle’s best advocate.

Post Scriptum: The name is a nod to the Brookland neighborhood and my love of Roman history.
